• One of four bathrooms now completed for customers in Middle Assendon, near Henley on Thames. The design from Ripples utilises products of substantial size to ensure that the large space is adequately filled without cluttering it up with lots of items. The brassware is from Samuel Heath in a stainless steel finish, the shower glass from Price Glass, the round basins from Deca, and the bath from Adamsez. The wood effect tiles and the teak wood furniture bring warmth into the room. To add to the warmth, even the steps have under floor heating.

  • This very contemporary design was developed by Newbury Bathrooms for customers in Lambourn and installed by ourselves. The design called for the construction of a false wall to hide much of the pipework and which also enabled the installation of a suspended toilet and two feature recesses with lights. The tiles are from Villeroy and Boch as are the Momento range basin and toilet, bath from BC Designs, brassware from Hansgrohe, shower enclosure from Majestic and radiator from Bisque. The tall wall unit was manufactured by bespoke furniture manufacturers, WG Edwards.

  • Another of the four bathrooms completed for customers in Middle Assendon. Newbury Bathrooms provided visualisation of the design which is simple, uncluttered and elegant, and makes full use of the substantial space. The tiles which give the impression of walking on sand are from the Terra Noble range from Villeroy and Boch, the bath, basin and taps from Victoria & Albert, radiator from Bisque and shower brassware from Hansgrohe. The Schneider cabinet above the basin is a feature of the room with its bulk hidden within a recess in the partition stud wall.

  • We worked with Martina Landhed, Design Director at InStil Design in Oxford for this customer in Wallingford. The project involved converting a bedroom in a Victorian terraced house into a spacious and classic bathroom with separate walk in shower. The interesting design included natural stone tiles and Farrow & Ball paint and wallpaper decoration to the walls, jacuzzi type bath from Kohler, sanitaryware from Catalano, brassware from Perrin and Rowe, radiator from Bisque and bespoke furniture to Martina’s design from Vanity Hall. Martina won Bathroom Designer of the Year for one of her bathroom designs at the 2013 kbbreview Awards.

  • The space for these customers in Marlow was small but Ripples in London produced a high impact design which met the customers’ aspirations for ‘bling’. The floor tiles are polished granite and the glass mosaics by Bisazza which created a challenge to produce a perfectly circular recess in the end wall. The bath is from BC Designs, toilet from Jacuzzi, brassware from Samuel Heath and modular radiator from Vola. A Diva cloakroom basin and vanity unit and extensive lighting including colour changing floor LEDs completed the effect.

  • One of two bathrooms completed for customers in Woolton Hill, near Newbury in conjunction with Newbury Bathrooms. The project also included an upgrade of the hot water supply system. A stud wall was constructed behind the basin to hide pipework which enabled the installation of a suspended toilet with recess and glass shelves above and a recessed cabinet. The bath is from Carron, tiles, sanitaryware and brassware from Villeroy and Boch, furniture from Montrose, shower screen from Majestic and the cabinet from Schneider. The granite stone from Stone Circle around the bath and in the recess brings subtle impact to the design.

  • This customer’s house in Stanford Dingley is several centuries old with many exposed beams. Our challenge was to construct the shower so that the exposed beams in one wall of the shower would remain visible when inside the shower. Our solution was to construct this wall of the shower from glass which was achieved by forming an oak frame to fit the contours of the old wall and beams against which the glass wall panel was fixed. The bath is from Bette, tiles from Villeroy & Boch and brassware from Dornbracht. We used a shallow wall frame from Geberit to place the toilet cistern within the wall thus minimising the toilet projection into the room.

  • 2 of 3 bathrooms, completed in 2014, near Pangbourne. We worked with InStil Design who designed the rooms to the customer’s brief and supplied Hansgrohe brassware (Axor range in the en suite), tiles from Saloni and Crespania, the blue bath from Ashton Bentley and furniture from Svedburg; 2 items of bespoke furniture were manufactured by ourselves. The en suite involved some re modelling to include a walk in wardrobe fitted out with hanging space and shelving. One of the interesting aspects of the project was adapting and upgrading the plumbing system which was based upon a manifold arrangement that originated from Italy.
